Great macha items . They have excellent ice cream and variety of drinks. One special was whit chocolate macha drink, strawberry macha- both great! They have frappes, floats, sparklers and cheese foam! The only problem I had was there was not an option to make some drinks less sweet. I ordered the macha latte, I was able to control the sweetness level, I got 50% sweet and it was great. The ice cream was a good serving size and delicious!

Update: more recently, they have consistently run out of boba almost every time we go. It’s so popular that they just need to make more. Still great but just need consistency. This place is legit. Best matcha soft serve in the area. Not sweet, so if you’re looking for Asian buffet green tea ice cream, this isn’t the place. The kuromitsu boba aka black honey boba is amazing, great taste and texture. What we love is that they have monthly flavors. They do tend to stay in the realm of Asian flavors, and in general it’s not so sweet. The kokutu black honey jelly topping is a favorite, and the Oreo crush is actually pretty good on the matcha and vanilla.

As a matcha lover, absolutely agree this store has the best high quality matcha in the south Sac area. Nice clean store with great service. Long line but also quick service. They allow you to sample the soft ice cream. Their matcha or hojicha soft serve ice cream is perfect. It's sweet but very light and sure you will not hate that sweetness because of real high quality matcha you will get the bitter aftertaste which makes good combination for their ice cream: Few disappointment for this time coming back here. I can tell the portion is smaller and price's increased . Furthermore same as before that they do not offer indoor sitting, no tables, just benches - sitting to wait for your order. Also not outdoor seating. The surrounding of this place always crowded and parking lot is always full. Hope The Maiko will franchise in folsom soon. Highly and especially recommended for Matcha Lover. Must try - hojicha float with green tea ice cream - the maiko special ( No. 3 on menu) - the hojicha frappe - Strawberry sundae with green tea - the golden sho-gun (24k gold leaf is funny experience) - Matcha coffee latte float (No. 30 )

This place has the most delicious shaved green tea ice ever. I love their softserve. Their strawberry matcha latte was S tier too. The soft serve isn't too milky, strong matcha flavor. Interior is new and modern. I enjoyed it a lot. One of the best matcha dessert places I've tried in US.

This matcha ice cream is seriously so good! The flavor is really on point, not too sweet or too bitter. I could eat a whole pint of this stuff. It's definitely a winner in my book. I'll be buying this again for sure!

Very glad we stopped in, this was the best matcha soft serve I have had. This chain originates out of Hawaii and is a definite place I would recommend. I went back in and ordered two more for my loved ones. The service was fantastic, friendly and helpful.

Best matcha in Sacramento, period. I live in North Sac, so it's a bit of a drive getting here, but it's so worth it every time. The prices are amazing for the quality, the staff is polite and super quick, and the place is nice and clean. Overall, just a great establishment. Delicious matcha!
